Amazon.com redesigned with a precision unibody enclosure from a single block of aluminum 17-inch MacBook Pro is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, as well as stronger and more durable. But Apple did not stop with the body of innovative design. MacBook Pro also includes a new high-resolution LED-backlit widescreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, a wide range of vivid colors and a 700:1 contrast ratio, making the whites brighter and blacker blacks. It also includes the new glass box that suppresses the trackpad (further tracking area) and features Apple's multi-touch technology. And no removable battery lasts up to 8 hours on one charge and can be recharged up to 1000 times – compared with only 200 to 300 times the typical notebooks.
